I was recently inspired by a friend of mine to bring back the blog so our family and friends can keep current with our lives. Ok, let's be honest, everyone just wants to know how Aiden is doing... :)

Our lives have been pretty busy lately. Jerad and I continue to try to find the balance between working and spending time with our friends and family.

It's hard to believe Aiden is five months old already. He is such a smart boy and really is the light of our lives. His recent activities include learning to blow "raspberries", especially while he's eating (which makes it hard for me to tell him "no" as I'm trying to hide my laughing), eating his toes, rolling, and just starting to crawl. He has also started teething in the last few

weeks. The poor little guy has been a trooper though and just keeps chomping on everything he can get into his mouth. He continues to love bath time. We had to move his baby bathtub into our big bathtub because he loves to splash so much that there would end up being more water on the floor than in the bathtub! While he's only five months old, he is wearing 9 month sleepers for bed since he is so long!!

At the beginning of November, Aiden went on his first airplane ride when we took a family vacation to Las Vegas and Arizona! We were able to spend some time with our family in Arizona and even take Great-Grandpa Stern so he could see all of his great grandchildren in one place at the same time.

It was also fun to do some sightseeing...we got to tour Hoover Dam and visit the Grand Canyon. We also saw some Indian ruins, a botanical garden, and spent a little time in Las Vegas.

As you can see from the picture, Aiden was appropriately thankful this Thanksgiving! As we celebrated this year it really hit us how thankful we are to have a healthy, happy baby boy. God has truly blessed us!
